Fake tin ceiling tiles are decorative ceiling tiles which serve as replacements for more traditional tin or aluminum tiles. The fake ceiling tiles are more affordable, the installation is simplified and its PVC material has the additional advantage of being lightweight, virtually maintenance free, and lasting forever.
Fake tin tiles are available in 24″ x 24″ (sometimes referred to as 2 x 2 ) tiles for easy drop in installation for a tin look with no metal “echo.” Unlike tin ceiling tiles, most fake ceiling drop in styles are available in up to fifteen different finishes for no additional charge. Your finish can be selected from a drop down menu during the ordering process. Fake tin ceiling tiles are also available in 24″ x 24″ tiles that can be glued or nailed directly to the ceiling or wall. This does not reduce the height of the ceiling, unlike when using a drop ceiling tiles on a suspended grid.
Some of the finishes include: Antique Silver, Creme Matte, White Matte, Copper, Antique Copper, Silver, Antique Silver, Gold, Antique Gold, White Matte, White Pearl, Cream Pearl, Antique Brass, Magenta Silver, Teakwood, Pink Pearl Coffee, Rosewood Gold, Blue Sandstone, and Skyblue Sandstone.
